Features of this award redemption structure include less miles and less time to earn awards, redeeming miles for one-way travel, introduction of the 5000 mile round-trip award for Free Spirit MasterCard cardholders (this makes it the fastest free flight in the industry), and one-way awards which start at just 2500 miles (exclusively for the Free Spirit MasterCard holders).
